Payment:
We will accept payment by cash guaranteed cheque, charge card, credit card or debit card. Credit facilities are not available unless we have previously entered into a formal agreement. If you pay by cheque, please note that we will only dispatch after your cheque has cleared.

Privacy & Security:
At Classic Spares we only collect information from you we need to fulfil your order. This includes you address & contact details. You can opt to pay by cheque, in which case we do not need any further information from you. However, if you opt to pay by credit or debit card, we will need your card number, start & expiry dates, Issue number (Switch & Solo) and the 3-digit security number on the back of your card.
Once you select to "Go to Check out", you will be transfered to our Secure Server, which is protected by 128bit encryption, also known as SSL (Secure Socket Layer), which means, all data transmitted between your browser & our site is encrypted and therefore safe from hackers. It is virtually impossible to crack the 128bit code. This encryption is used world wide on all major commercial web sites. You can rest assured, that any data you send from our site is safe, cannot be tampered with or abused.
We do not pass any of your details on to third parties, we only use your details to fulfil your order.

Unsatisfactory Goods:
You are entitled to reject within a reasonable period any item which is of unsatisfactory quality. Please arrange for return within 7 days. Any claims made thereafter cannot be accepted. On receipt of goods, please check that they are satisfactory and contact us immediately if not. We may ask for written confirmation if an item is lost or damaged in transit and may require that packaging is retained for inspection by our insuerers. Please note, we will not accept any claim for loss or damage in transit unless your claim is received within 24 hours of receipt of goods. Any parcel received in an unsatisfactory condition must be signed for a "damaged" where applicable.

Returning Goods:
Please do not return any item without contacting us first. We will accept any item which is unsatisfactory and you will receive a replacement item or a full refund.
Satisfactory goods which were purchased from us may also be returned if no longer required. If they are unused and still in their original packaging, we will credit you the original price less a handling charge of 10% (at our discretion), with the exclusion of "special order" items which are non-returnable.

Surcharge Units:
Surcharge Units will only be accepted for refund if they are received in a clean and servicable condition. Oily, dirty or damaged units will not be accepted for surcharge refund.

Privacy:
We only request information from you to be able to process your order. We need your address, which is also the address your credit card must be registered at, and, if you require, a different delivery address. For payment purposes we also need your credit card details, but you can opt to pay by cheque, if you prefer. We do keep your address details on a secure database, so you can log in for future purchases without having to re-enter your details. We do not share this information with any outside party. If you pay by credit card, we will only keep your card details until your order has been processed.

Security:
Any pages on our site, which ask for personal information, e.g. address, and payment details, are hosted on our Secure Server. You can check our Secure Site Seal at the bottom right corner of your browser window. We use the industry standard SSL (Secure socket Layer) which encrypts all information sent from your browser to us, so even hackers cannot get at your details. It is safe to order from our site, but if you still prefer to talk to a real world person, please ring us during office hours, and we will be more than happy to answer any queries & take your order over the phone.

Postage:
We have now reconstructed the postage system on this website. We have weighed most items and the total weight of your order will determine the postage charge at the time you go to check out. If no postage has been calculated (due to unknown weight of a few items), we will contact you with a price for postage before dispatching your goods.
Royal Mail Standard Parcels take usually 2 - 5 days,
YDL Courier delivery 1 - 2 days.
Special Delivery can be arranged - please enquire.
N.B. Postage prices may vary due to variation in fuel cost at the time of your order.
Overseas shipping is calculated off-line and we will quote prior to dispatch.

Prices:
We reserve the right to change our prices without notice. This means, although we update our site constantly, an item you have ordered may be out of stock at the time we receive your order and the re-ordered item can differ in price, then we reserve the right to change our prices, but we will contact you in such a case to confirm you still want to go ahead with the order. However, we would like to stress, that this will only happen in exceptional circumstances.

All our prices exclude VAT at the current rate of 17.5%. If you are ordering from a non-EC country, we will not charge VAT.
